What We Do 

Senior Counseling Group makes available needed behavioral health services to residents of senior care facilities by:

• Recruiting, training, supporting & maintaining mental health professionals committed to seniors' well being.
  

• Providing senior care facilities a system to identify residents in need of behavioral health services and arranging for qualified professionals to diagnose and treat identified needs.
  

• Helping senior care facilities comply with regulatory requirements by offering inservice education on behavioral health issues as well as assisting in integrating behavioral health documentation into individual resident's nursing care plans.
  

• Managing the interface between facilities and professionals to ensure needs are met and expectations fulfilled.

SCG  and its affiliated professionals share a belief in and a commitment to the dignity of elder years and retention of quality of life.
